Selfish Altruism in the Call Center Environment
Monday, 18 January 2010

Concorde Communications, a U.S. based professional answering service, did an outstanding job in sparking the giving spirit this holiday season by encouraging their clients to make good on their invoices by the end of December, and in return would donate a turkey to the Los Angeles Mission to help the homeless men, women and children get off the streets and provide them with a much needed Christmas dinner.

The Los Angeles Mission offers services free of charge to all in need. They provide hot meals, served three times a day, overnight shelter, clean clothing, showers, shaves and temporary baggage storage. They also offer recovery services, transitional services, an outreach program and other special events that not only give the homeless of L.A. a place to stay but a chance to turn their lives around.

The holidays are all about giving and many are in dire need. Being able to provide meals for the homeless not only gets them off the streets for a night but encourages them to utilize the services at the Los Angeles Mission and get them on the track to a new and happy life away from the danger and drugs that are prevalent in the streets of L.A.

Concorde Communications is proud to offer their support to the Los Angeles Mission throughout this holiday season and commends all of their valuable clients for taking part and giving back to our community.
