Call Center Clients Respond to Holiday Turkey Challenge

The clients of Concorde Communications, a U.S. based answering service, responded at great levels when told they had a chance to give back to the community over the holiday season by simply paying their invoices on time.

Concorde told all their valuable clients that if they received payment on their invoices by December 30th they would donate a turkey on their behalf to the Los Angeles Mission, which would help provide a hot meal to the homeless of L.A. over the holidays.

The Los Angeles Mission provides a range of services to the homeless men, women and children of Los Angeles, including emergency, recovery and transitional services, as well as special events and an outreach program. Their goal is to not only provide a temporary place to find a hot meal and a place to stay, but to encourage change by the homeless to get on the path to recovery from drugs and alcohol and lead a productive and happy life.

Emails came in bursting with approval and praise of the charitable challenge and Concorde not only saw an over 23% increase in payments, but were able to donate more than 80 turkeys than they would have over a typical month. An impressive response by Concorde’s clients and they are ecstatic about the donation they were able to give the Mission.

At the end of the project, each client received a personalized letter from the Los Angeles Mission stating that they received a turkey on their behalf. Many thanks go out to Concorde Communications, their generous answering service clients and the Los Angeles Mission for all the wonderful services they provide not only over the holidays, but every day of the year.
